Innovative SIngleSensor Technology
The SmartLF SCi series features Colortrac’s innovative SingleSensor Technology. This combines the image sensor and illumination in a single line for unbeatable ‘all-over’ scanning.
Unlike rivals that use multiple/staggered sensor arrangements to then digitally stitch images together, SingleSensor technology is a single-piece design, avoiding issues such as image misalignment and poor lighting.
Working alongside Colortrac’s advanced ClearView LED illumination system which eliminates shadows, the results are perfect, accurate and detailed images that are perfect first time, every time.
SureDrive Feed Techology
Colortrac’s revolutionary SureDrive technology ensures flawless document feeding by maintaining uniform pressure across the scanning area.
The single, powered soft-roller system assists paper progress through the scanner. This dual-functionality not only enables smooth document passage, reducing the risk of jams but also allows precise document alignment with the scanning head.
This optimizes image quality, minimizing distortions and blurriness that may arise from misplacement. The technology’s combination of seamless feed and accurate positioning results in operational efficiency and superior image clarity.
SmartWorks Touch Software
Simple and easy to use, SmartWorks Touch puts you in complete control. Included as standard, print, scan and copy with ease via easy-to-use icons and menus.
To scan, simply load your original, choose a built-in preset (there are 9 to choose from) and press scan. With the software’s scan-once-edit feature, you can adjust scans in real-time without needing to re-scan the original to apply.
You can also create your own custom presets as well, giving you great choice and flexibility to make your SmartWorks Touch software unique to your needs. Use with a touchscreen, regular mouse and keyboard or a combination of the two.
Choice of upgrdable models
The latest SmartLF SCi series is available in a choice of 3 sizes – 25”, 36” and 42” with each available in mono (m), colour (c) and colour enhanced (e) models.
Colour enhanced models double the standard colour scan speed from 6” to 12” per second for the ultimate in productivity and high performance. What’s more, m and c models are upgradeable to the next model upwards so as your needs change, your scanner can too!
No need for a new scanner, to upgrade from m to c or c to e just requires the purchase of an upgrade code. Simple to apply with no service engineer required, it allows you choose the model that’s right for you now.
* A maximum hardware resolution of 9800 dpi is only available when used with the optional SmartWorks Imaging software.
